Oscar Picks Efron, Pattinson To Present
It is no secret that the Oscar’s have been suffering in the ratings over the past few years, so this year they’re going for the beefcake. They’ve got The Sexiest Man Alive Hugh Jackman hosting, and they’ve recently announced two of the hottest young male actors will be presenting: Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson:
Josh Hartnett
Josh Hartnett looks great in a a towell, but he’s also got quite the acting resume. Black Hawk Down, Pear Harbor, Hollywood Homocide and Lucky Number Slevin. He’s got a few films in production so we’ll be seeing a lot more of him this year. In the mean time,
Jonathan Rhys Meyers was born on July 27, 1977 in Dublin, Ireland. His biggest role to date is King Henry VIII on Showtime’s The Tudors. Meyers plays a wicked Henry, it is hard to imagine anyone else in that role.
He’s also been in August Rush, Alexander, Vanity Fair, and Elvis (where he played Elvis Presely.)

Patrick Dempsey
Patrick Dempsey, best known as Dr. Mc Dreamy Derek Shepard on Grey’s Anatomy, has been burning up the silver screen for nearly 3 decades. He got his start in a series of teen romance comedies such as In the Mood, Happy Together, Loverboy and Can’t Buy Me Love.
His first major television role in tv series was a recurring role as Will’s closeted sportscaster boyfriend on Will & Grace. He went on to play the role of Aaron Brooks, Lily & Judy’s psychologically unbalanced brother, on Once & Again.

Openly gay Luke McFarlane plays the adorable Scotty, husband of Kevin, on Brothers and Sisters. He studied drama at Julliard in NYC, and also fronted a rock band in the 90s.
