Here’s the MaleCelebsBlog.com – Darren Criss Bio – Darren Everett Criss, the Eurasian heartthrob from Glee, was born in San Francisco in 1987. Darren’s mother, Cienna, is from the Philippines and his father, Charles is of German descent. At an early age, Criss began musical training in classical violin. In addition, he taught himself to play the guitar, mandolin, piano, harmonica, and the drums. He was a member of the famed Starkid Productions, a musical theater company in Chicago. Darren landed the starring role in their production of “A Very Potter Musical.” The talented actor went on to play Blaine Anderson in the wildly popular TV show Glee from 2010-2015. He is a multitalented singer, songwriter, and actor.

Criss wrote and performed the theme song, “This Time” for the finale of Glee and was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2015. He surprised and delighted fans with his amazing portrayal of serial killer Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace.

This hunky and versatile performer also started a pop band with his brother Chuck Criss called Computer Games. In February of 2019, Darren Criss married Mia Swier, his longtime girlfriend. His current venture is starring on Ryan Murphy’s Hollywood series which is now streaming on Netflix.
